About Anita (she/her)

Anita is a Counsellor, Consultant and Educator. She holds an an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master of Counselling and a Diploma of Education from the University of Tasmania (UTAS). With 27+ years' experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families, Anita brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her therapeutic and consultancy work.

Anita offers evidence based, client-centred therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), behaviour therapy, positive behaviour support (PBS), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, positive psychology, trauma informed, somatic, art and play therapy approaches.

Anita has extensive experience in providing individual therapy and family support for:

We work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

We work closely with other allied health professionals, service providers and multidisplinary teams.
