Individual & Group Therapy

Counselling helps us to explore and make sense of psychological, emotional, behavioural, relationship and social challenges. Strategies and skills are learned to manage difficulties and to support positive change in all areas of life.

Anita Killick has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master of Counselling degree and a Diploma of Education from the University of Tasmania and over 25 years' experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families.

Anita has had extensive training and experience in evidence based, client-centred counselling and therapy modalities, incuding strengths- based and solution-focused therapies, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), behaviour therapy, positive behaviour support, play therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, positive psychology, psycho-education and cognitive coaching.

We offer individual therapy and family support for:

Anita is trained and experienced in delivering individual and group programs including Social Confidence & Resilience for Children and Adolescents, Social Thinking Curriculum and Zones of Regulation programs.

Anita works with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
